While everyone else in Sioux Falls was fretting the April 13 blizzard in 2018, Andrea was getting a delivery of roses at her doorstep with a “sweet note” including details for that evening’s date with her boyfriend, Micah.
“We ended up in a cozy booth at one of our favorite downtown date spots, The Market, where Micah proposed after dinner,” she recalled.
“When we arrived to our reception, we did a sparkler photo op along the street. It was freezing out, but our wedding party and a handful of guests joined in on the fun, and they are by far some of our favorite pictures from the day!”
Snow carried over with a winter wedding, mixing a modern venue with classic, romantic details. These details included a tower of custom matchbooks, and flowers were arranged by the bride. It just so happens Andrea owns Confetti Creative Co., so she also had her (artistic) hands on the stationery and signage, as well.

The evening’s grand finale happened in honor of the time of year of the wedding date.
Andrea noted, “Having our wedding right before New Year’s [Eve] gave me the perfect opportunity to incorporate some sparkle for a truly festive affair!”
