Francesca and Austin’s story began at Al’s Oasis where they both worked in the summer of 2015. They continued their story in Moab, Utah where Austin proposed to Francesca. Their story circled back to Chamberlain where they tied the knot five months later.

Francesca and Austin wanted to make their wedding more special by having a traditional Lakota ceremony followed by a legal wedding ceremony the next day.

Francesca and Austin described their Missouri River wedding as simple, rustic, and spiritual. The ceremonies featured an arbor made out of willow created by Francesca’s stepfather and Austin, hand-picked bouquets of sage, and a guestbook made of canvas print that now hangs in the couple’s home.

“Our love for each other is genuine and real, and we wanted everyone there to feel that.”

“We also wrote our own vows, too,” said Austin.

Instead of a father/daughter dance, Francesca created a slide show video of memories with her father who passed away when she was 10.
