Rachael and Matt’s simple and elegant brunch wedding created an atmosphere full of meaningful moments for the couple.
“We wanted our day to be stress free, full of happiness, and love,” said Rachael, who got married in Harrisburg. One of those special moments for both the bride and groom was when Rachael walked down the aisle.
“My dad had pancreatic cancer, so it was really special he was there to celebrate our wedding day with us,” she recalled.
“CJ (Matt’s son) was with us every step of the way. He walked with us out of the ceremony and shared a part of our first dance with us, too.”
Another cherished part of the day was surprising her father with a first dance not only with Rachael, but with her sister, as well.
“We knew my dad would not be there to have a first dance with her when she gets married,” she said. “That was a special moment for my dad and sister to share, and it’s a memory we are all glad to have.”
